Karhu is one of these sneaker companies that aren’t in it for just the hype. The Finnish brand established in 1916 and named Karhu in 1920 (Karhu = Finnish for bear) is a classic running shoe company famous for world-class running trainers on tracks around the globe. Famous for its three stripes, which they later sold to a brand from Germany, they produced athletic shoes with great international reputation. Karhu was the first company to patent air-cushioned shoes and pioneered also on the basketball shoe market with the Harlem Air.

With the Fusion 2.0 Karhu brings back an updated version of the 90s running shoe classic Fusion. Released in 1996 Karhu brought back the original designer for the 2.0s, updating the sole unit and upper measurements. Part of the “Tonal Pack” is the Bright White Fusion 2.0. The Bright White and Strom Grey model features a white color on the leather and mesh upper with a grey collar as well as a neoprene sock liner and an Air deck insole. The white midsole comes with the Karhu Fulcrum technology enabling the “Rolling Effect” created by Karhu and a rubber outsole.
