The Nike Air Huarache was released for the first time in 1991. The name descends from a Native American sandal and was designed by non-other than Tinker Hatfield. The shoe in its original design featured neoprene and spandex giving the running sneaker a sock-like fit “hugging” your foot quite literally. The skeleton-like heel support gives stability where it is needed for a performance shoe while the Phylon midsole provides proper cushioning. Nike Sportswear now prepares sneakerheads that have been longing for more colorways for summer 2018 with this “Magenta” Nike Air Huarache ´91. The neoprene upper comes in a mixed white, neon yellow and Magenta colorway, while the mudguard is kept in white leather, as well as the lace-cage. The heel-support comes in black and neon yellow, rounded off by a white mid- and black rubber outsole.
